Pizza Dough - Bread Maker Version

Servings 2 large pizzas

Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups all-purpose white flour or high grade flour
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast I use Surebake yeast

Instructions

  1. In the bread maker basket, in this order, add the warm water, flour, olive oil, salt, and yeast. You do not need to touch the mix at all here, simply place into the bread maker and set the machine onto the dough function, push go.
  2. Once the cycle has completed, transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface. I use my bench. Punch down the dough with your hands and divide into the amount of pizzas you like. It makes 2 large or 6 small.
  3. Then shape these into balls, put in a warm place and cover with a clean tea towel. Leave the dough to rise for around 40 minutes, until the dough has doubled in size.
  4. Now you are ready to make pizza!
  5. On your lightly floured surface, roll your dough out with a rolling pin and add your toppings!
  6. Cook at 220 degrees fanbake until golden and cooked through.
