Cheesy Rice Slice with Ham & Corn

Ingredients

  • 5 Eggs
  • 250 grams pack of microwavable long grain rice, or cooked rice
  • 420 grams Can corn kernels, rinsed and drained
  • 100 grams Ham, sliced
  • 1 Cup Grated tasty cheese
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C fan bake.  Grease and line a 26 x 18 cm pan with baking paper.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, add rice, corn, ham and half of the cheese to the egg mixture. Mix well. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Pour mixture into greased pan. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top.

  4. Bake for 25-35 minutes, until just set. Leave to cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove and cut.

  5. Serve plain for children, or with relish and a salad on the side.
